Curio optics is the brainchild of Paul and Jenn. Both Paul and Jenn are regulars at antiques and vintage fairs across the UK where they specialise in the unique, weird and sometimes bizarre items including cameras and scientific instruments.
Curio Optics is a natural progression from attending fairs. It gives us the ability to offer our items to a wider selection of collectors and enthusiasts, as well as being able to tell the history of items through our blog posts and newsletters.
Curio Optics is a curated collection of vintage cameras and antique scientific instruments, each chosen for its craftsmanship, history, and character. We seek out pieces that tell a story — from Victorian microscopes to mid-century folding cameras — and present them to collectors, photographers, and curious minds who appreciate the beauty of precision made by hand.
