Nice pair of Clement Clarke drop cell trial frames - these were used to assess lens suitability before a final decision was made on strength of glasses. Clement Clarke formed in 1917 and soon became known for the quality of their optical equipment. By the mid 1950s they had become one of leading dispensing opticians in the UK. In 1986 Boots purchased the dispensing side of the company.
The frames are in great condition and look hardly used. They come in the original box.
