Edixa Reflex M42 Extension Tube Spacer Set — Original Box, Near Mint, Barely Used

A near-mint Edixa Reflex extension tube spacer set in M42 screw mount, complete in its original box. Extension tubes are an elegant and fully optical solution for close-up and macro photography — they work by moving the lens further from the film or sensor plane, reducing the minimum focusing distance and allowing much greater magnification without any glass elements or image degradation. This set is in exceptional condition and has clearly seen very little use. Compatible with any M42-mount camera body and any M42 lens.

Condition

• Tubes: Near mint — barely used, a couple of small scratches on the front.
• M42 threads: As new — clean and undamaged.
• Box: Original box included — age-related wear, some marks and pen marks on the exterior.

Provenance & Specification

• Maker: Wirgin (Edixa), Wiesbaden, West Germany — Edixa was the camera and accessories brand of Wirgin Kamerawerk, a respected German manufacturer active from the 1920s through the 1970s. The Edixa Reflex was Wirgin’s M42-mount SLR system, produced in the 1950s and 60s and compatible with the vast M42 screw-mount lens ecosystem.
• Mount: M42 screw mount — universally compatible with all M42 lenses and bodies, including cameras from Praktica, Pentax, Zenit, Yashica, Chinon, and many others, as well as M42 lenses adapted to modern mirrorless systems.
• Type: Extension tube spacer set — fits between the camera body and lens to extend the optical path, enabling close-focus and macro photography with any M42 lens.
• Appeal: A beautifully preserved vintage macro accessory in near-mint condition with original packaging — a practical tool for film photographers and M42 enthusiasts, and a collectible piece for Edixa and Wirgin collectors.
