Vintage Praktica IV F 35mm film camera 1960s

A classic Praktica IV F manual focus 35mm SLR camera from the 1960s. Built in East Germany to last, the Praktica IV F is a hefty, well-engineered camera that has earned a loyal following among film photographers for its reliability and compatibility with M42 screw-mount lenses.

Condition

• Cosmetic: Good overall condition. A couple of minor marks on the body and a small scratch on the front. Some rubbing of the aluminium on the front of the prism housing — typical wear for a camera of this age and build.
• Mechanical: Shutter fires and appears to function correctly at all speeds.
• Viewfinder: A couple of specks of dust/dirt visible, does not affect shooting.
• Lens: Good condition — no fungus.
